WordPress: Moving from Live Site to Staging on WP Engine

1. Login to the back end of your site. This brings you to the Dashboard. Click on WP Engine on upper-left side.

2. Click on the Staging tab

3. Take note of the staging status date and time!

4. Click the blue button to copy site from live to staging.

5. Click the blue button to proceed.

6. This page will show you the status. It may take a while depending on the size of your site.

You can refresh the page to check its progress.

7. Staging site is ready. The link to your staging site is provided.
