To log into your new WordPress site, go to www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin. “wp-admin” (or WordPress Admin) is the administrator portal for your website.

RedTree should have sent you a username and password to log in with.

Once logged in, you’ll see the Dashboard. This area can be customized to display different high-level information about your site.

On the left side of the page are the wp-admin navigation links. Important links to pay attention to are:

Posts

Posts are blog posts (if your site has a blog).

Pages

Pages are your site pages (like Home, About Us, Contact, etc.)

Media

The media library contains all of your site’s images. You can upload new images here as well.

Users

If you need to add a new user to your site, you can do it here. Make sure to give them the correct permissions.
